Dr.James W. Davis, Ph.D Professor of International Politics, University of St. Gallen,Switzerland visited Jordan hosted by Swiss Jordanian Business Club.
During Dr. James' visit, HE. Mr. Adnan Talhouni Chairman of SJBC and Dr.James visited HE Mr. Zeid Al Rifai, former Prime Minister & Senior Statesman. The meeting was followed by an on sight visit to the Syrian Refugee Camp (ZATARI),home to some 150,000 refugees.
SJBC were welcomed by Colonel Zaher Abu Shehab The Zatari Director who gave the guest a brief about the camp and a very moving on sight tour.
During his visit Mr. Chairman And Dr. James also visited HE Mr. Abdul Karim AlKabariti, Former Prime minister& presently Chairman/CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank and HE Mr. Nasser Al- Lozi, Chairman of Royal Jordanian Airlines &former Chief of the Royal Court.
Meetings were followed by an Executive Lunch with SJBC Board members at the Millennium Hotel.
The guest also visited Al –Isra university .
Dr. James' visit was concluded by a trip to Madaba, Mountain Nebo and the Baptism Sight.
We hope Dr. James’ trip was a success and we hope to host him again soon here in Jordan.

His Excellency the Swiss Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Michael Wenzab, and Chairman of the Swiss – Jordanian Business Club (SJBC), Mr. Adnan Talhouni, visited IBC Headquarters in Swefiya – Amman.
During his visit, the Ambassador expressed the French Companies’ interest to be introduced to the trade and investment opportunities in the Iraqi market and keenness to establish partnerships with the companies owned by IBC members. On his part, IBC Chairman welcomed the Swiss Ambassador and Chairman of the Swiss Jordanian Business Club and presented a brief introduction on IBC activities, objectives and its main economic achievements, particularly the success achieved by IBC in persuading both the Jordanian and Iraqi Governments to impart the 4th licensing round from Turkey to Jordan. Furthermore, IBC members elaborated on the key investment sectors in Iraq such as the Oil & Gas Sectors and the Construction Sector. IBC members also tackled issues appertaining to the necessity of facilitating means of cooperation between the Swiss and Iraqi companies. His Excellency the Swiss Ambassador expressed his interest and keenness as to the participation of the Swiss companies in the economic activities held by IBC in order to promote economic cooperation.
The meeting was attended by IBC Chairman, Dr. Majid Saedi, IBC Secretary-General, Mr. Saad Naji, IBC Board member, Mr. Muhammad Sarraf, and IBC CEO.
